What is the name of this cat’s coat color type?

What color type is a cat’s coat if the cat is mostly white but has splashes of orange and black, like the color type on a Calico or some Japanese Bobtails and such? Thank you. ^^

i think it’s referred to as tortoiseshell, but i’m not 100% sure.
It depends on the distribution of the spots. If it is the head, the tail and one or two spots in between, it may be a van pattern. It may still be a calico.
It sounds like a Calico cat. >^-^< I used to have one & she was a sweetie.
Sounds like a pretty cat, I love cats…
sounds like a calico to me..and they are usually almost always female..very rare to have a male calico…
Calico – also called Tortie and White.
Japanese Bobtails are also often Spotted Tabby and White or Mackerel Tabby and White – with tabby marking on top of their heads and tails and an occasional splotch of colour on the body as well http://tica.org/public/breeds/jb/intro.php
Cats can also have tortie colouring within the tabby markings. In that case it’s called “Torbie” or if with white as well “Torbie and White”, also called “Patched Tabby and White” (depends on which registry).
its a tabby cat or or omg i just watched it on cats 101 on animal planet!!!!! oh god…..sorry
