So I come home from class, and sat down on the kitchen floor to cry because i was let down by my boyfriend after doing a shit load of stuff for him for valentines day.
So I’m sitting on the floor and all of a sudden i hear a noise. It was like a chewing noise. I have been hearing it for the past few nights from the front of my apartment (in the closet) and into the kitchen.
I stand up, nothing on the counter. I open the cabinet and pull out our value bag o’ rice and look at that. a few holes.
I waited there for a few minutes and heard scurring and saw a couple of light tan mice. I dont know if there’s more or not (sounds like a lot) there is a lot of poop in the cabinet but im not sure how much poop=how many mice. any one have any clue.
also, does anyone know how i can catch them all without having to kill them.
and if i have to kill them… will a cat work?
Thankss
(i have a couple pet mice that i can throw the house mice in with if i catch them)

my cat is 7yrs old n he’s an american shorthair. lately he’s been licking his back so much all the fur is gone and his skin is raw and he has not started on the his side. he also has many scabs on his neck do to scratching. we do have a flea problem, because my dog is also loaded, but my other cat doesn’t seem to have a problem. for awhile now he has had a sensitive back because of an flea infestation that was treated a year before.
here are some pictures so you can see the damage:

Hi there! I have been feeding a stray cat now for 6months and she has never gained weight. I finally scraped some money together and took her to the vet since she started hanging out at my house more and more often. We did a full panel, turns out her white blood cell count was pretty elevated. My vet said she is anemic and something about her liver, but no definitive answer. Her thyroid is fine, no parasites, no feline aids… all I know is that she probably has an infection of some sort and is anemic. She is approx 13 years old, her teeth and gums look alright and she eats well. At least 1-2 small cans of wet food (the highest grade you can buy) and some dry food (again the highest grade you can buy). She was a little dehydrated when I first took her to the vet, but I think she’s better now that I keep her inside with me. She is emaciated- I try to feed her vitamin rich foods, I’m using milk thistle to try and help her liver, and I’m giving her a low dose of Clavamox. Ideas?
Should have mentioned she doesnt have Leukemia. And she is clearly someones house cat that somehow made it on to the streets. I tried to find her “owner” but no one claimed her. She has clearly claimed me

I recently bought a WinterWhite dwarf hamster. I did everything I was told. Make sure it has fresh water, don’t bother him for 24 hours etc. 2 days later I came home and went to look at him and he was laying in the cage dead. I couldn’t figure out why. I took him back to pet smart and exchanged the dead one for a new one. Pet smart said that the first one died because he was probably sick. Before I took the first one back I cleaned the cage with soap and hot water two times. And let it sit in the sun for 4 hours. I got the second one home and followed the same rules I followed on the first one. The next night I came home and he was dead too. I saw my cat looking at him through the cage the day before. Could my cat have scared them and that’s why they died. i have an 11 year old Abyssinian I don’t think she can do much harm. She can’t fit her paws through the cage. Or could the hamsters at pet smart have been sick. If I decide to get another one I will be getting a new cage. Could my cat have scared them and thats how they died?

I have 2 cats, one 4 and one 5. Yes, I know they have alot longer to live but I want to start giving them good nutrition now. My sister came over the other day (she works in a pet store) and said my cat food was horrible and unhealthy. I love my cats so much and I want something that is healthy for them, what would you recommend? (other tips on things that would help my cats live longer would be sincerly appriated. I give my cats hairball medicine and groom them.)
The food I had before was Iams, the one my sister said was horrible. She looked on the back and it’s filled with unhealthy, fatty ingrediants and tons of by-products.
Ps- thanks so much everyone for your help! ^_^
