I already have a cat, he’s neutered and 3 years old. I’m not sure what breed he is, but he’s surprisingly loyal for a cat. His playfulness is average, though. We get along very well, and he has other cat friends in the neighborhood, but I don’t know how he’ll react to a new kitty in the house.
However, I have two dogs a well: A chihuahua and a German Shepherd. Both spayed females, and both will be friendly to a cat if they see that we’re friendly to it. So if they see us bring a new cat into our home, they won’t bark at it or anything.

Now, I know Russian Blues are very shy, and I’m sure I will be able to connect with one. But I heard that they can even be shy with other members of the family. Including me, there are 5 people in my family, my parents, my little brother (14), and my big brother (18). No small children. So we won’t scare him or anything.

I’m really just wondering if we can make it more social if we buy one as a kitten. I figured the above information would affect this, so sorry if seemed like too much info ^^;
