I read that ragdolls only have white chins and are allowed a blaze of white, whereas Birmans have colored chins. My cat has the colored chin, but also the blaze, which is not a Birman trait. So which one do I have?
Here’s a pic:

I actually found her on my property when she was just a few weeks old; I never saw her mother. She also had a sister that I gave away which had darker colorings on her body.

I have a 3 year old big fluffy male birman cat.
I got him when he was 8 months old, the previous owner had been letting him go out around the garden etc.
Since I have had him he has been desperate to go out, first I thought it was due to the fact he wasn’t neutered and went and had him done. But he STILL sits scratching the glass and meowing non stop by the windows.
I feel so mean not letting him go out, but I am afraid that he will get stolen by some nasty person. Or run away and not come back. I love him to bits, my partner wants to get rid of him as he is very frustrating.. I don’t know what to do? Should I let him go to another home that is on a farm or something where he can run around? I have another female birman who has never been out and she would be heart broken if he were to go.
I’m not trying to get rid of him as I can’t deal with the constant meowing, I just want him to be happy..
Are there any types of medication he could take? I think he’s very depressed about it.
he’s perfectly healthy otherwise.
The reason that the breed of cat matters is that people would OBVIOUSLY look at him and realise he is a pedigree cat and not a normal Moggie cat..
meaning he would have more of a chance of being stolen due to the fact that people would see the pound signs by looking at him.
I am in the UK anyway, so I don’t think a coyote would get him.
