Any help would be great. I know they are not really considered the breed unless they have paperwork, but I just want to know what they could be. My second one, I’m told seems to be most like a Korat. Thanks!!

Five looks like a tortoiseshell. Sorry that’s all I can think of!

  2. Ocimom says:

All are Domestic Shorthairs. #2 could have some Russian Blue rather then Korat (especially if the fur is more dense then a single close lying coat.

    1. Blue Patched Tabby
    2. Blue
    3. Brown Classic Tabby
    4. Brown Mackeral Tabby & White
    5. Tortie (tortoiseshell)

  3. Mandie K says:

1 looks like a normal domestic short hair tabby mix
2 looks like it could be a Russian Blue mix
3 another domestic short hair marble tabby mix looks just like my Tabby
4 domestic short hair looks just like my Skittles
5 domestic short hair tortoise shell Looks just like my Lilly

That’s funny i have five cats and 3 out of five look like yours lol

Congratulations! You have 5 domestic shorthairs.

  6. Percy-and-Penny says:

Unless you have papers for them odds are they’re NO particular breed – just like over 97% of the cats on this entire planet. And none of these cats bear traits of a particular breed they’re simply “domestic shorthairs”.

    Here’s the colours:

1 – pic’s a bit small but the colour of that cat looks like a Dilute Torbie. Torbie’s when a cat has both tabby markings and tortie/calico. And since it looks like it’s got a blueish grey and cream in there that would be “Dilute”. If it’s actually a darker red and black and just an overflashed pic then it’s just “Torbie”.

2 – Blue (gray is “Blue”) in cat colours.

3 – Brown Classic Tabby. “Classic” is when the coat pattern is whorls as opposted to vertical stripes like Mackerel Tabby.

4 – Brown Mackerel Tabby and White.

    5 – Tortie

Great collection of kitties. Quite a variety of colours/patterns. Are any of these related?

PS, people, the term for cats of no breed is DOMESTIC – not American – Shorthair. The American Shorthair is a pedigreed cat and looks VERY different from any of these cats http://www.pictures-of-cats.org/images/american-shorthair-2nd.jpg

  7. Kitty Kat says:

    Mostly American shorthairs.
